Promoter delaying handover of flat

Question

I have booked a flat with a promoter and almost 90% of the agreed amount has been paid as per agreement for sale. But now the promoter is delaying the handover of possession and even avoiding to meet us. What legal remedies we can get?

You can move Consumer Forum against the Promoter for the delay and may also claim compensation.
